Silent Withering

Through my photography, I delve into my personal journey with grief, loss and mental health. Whilst initially exploring my mental health through the use of tulips, I am to uncover my experience with grief by using roses as a symbol of beauty and life. By stripping the roses of their color, I create a series that emphasises their wilting, mirroring the transition from brightness to sorrow and emptiness. This work reflects the fragility of life and the profound sense of loss, capturing the delicate balance between hope and despair.
